Surely someone got a bird today by virtue of their patience. I gave up last saturday when I heard a few gobblers and called in a million mosquitos. If I hadn't shot a bird earlier I sure would have been out. Great season either way!

Here's to all the turkeys that out smarted us for another year and to the one's that didn't. God bless the wild turkey and the turkey hunter.

I didn't get one today, but I got my second one yesterday. That's cutting it close.
