Turkey season was sure not what I'd thought it might be this year for us. Two jakes between three hunters, could have had more if we hadn't pasted on them waiting for the "no show" toms to appear. Hunted last Monday and Tuesday for most of the day. Gave up on Tuesday at noon, still seeing birds along with hearing them but they wouldn't come to the calls. The deer were sure starting to move seen four bucks and two does on Monday along with 3 bucks and a doe on Tuesday. All of the bucks were different as they were seen quite a peice from each other. Here is a pic of a hen that walked up on me as I headed it to check out a field late Monday afternoon. She walked within shooting range of me then off to one side at five yards. Matt
