I dont think there has been much discussion on what people us as their locater calls. I personally carry both a crow call and a coyote howler. Im open to others so i was just wondering what most of us prefer to use ? And maybe i will give them a try.

If you mean to locate turkeys, we use hen calls in the evening and listen for the toms to gobble back from their roosting area. We don't have to drive to the location as they are in our backyard we just stand on the edge of our gully and call. My husband hears them gobble in the morning when he is sitting on the throne. I know too much information :D

Team Ontario Trophy Bucks

thanks Annie, now we too know too much information

i use a crow call but have very little luck with it, i also use the natural sounds where i hunt, the geese flying overhead, noisy that time of the year, the squeal of the pigs at the farm i hunt and the outside speaker phone at the place down the road, when that phone rings its over a speaker and sometimes the birds will gobble to it
