Just wondering for all you experienced turkey hunters out there who sucessfully take 2 turkeys every year, what call is a must for you to have in your vest and has called in more turkeys than any other call you have?I personally have a couple of calls, the triple threat and the Hurricane box call both by QB as this is my first year.Is there one call you wouldnt leave home without? |

Great question, I'm interested in knowing too. |
Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a bowel movement by the clean end

I would never leave home without at least a double reed diaphram call. I usually carry piles of different types of diaphram calls but the double reed is realistic sounding plus its easy to imitate all turkey vocalizations. I carry a slate call (old yeller) and a snuff can by QB but I very rarely use them, other than to make gobbles with the snuff can. I rely on diahram calls. |

would agree, if i only had to bring one call it would be the reed call, not sure what one i would pick though but it would be one of them. |

I guess I am different than most. I am a die hard slate caller. I also use diaphragms but I am not a big fan of the box call I have. I just can't get it to sound like I want. I carry 3 slate calls. One slate that I got from gobblestalker, one primos power crystal (my go to call) and one primos old glory frictionite. I also have a pocket with about 5-6 different strikers. |
