They're not huge birds but we're thrilled. Our dad video'ed for us so it was his first time turkey hunting and we got to enjoy the hunt with him.

Kevin's bird:
Beard: 8"
Spurs: 3/4"

Paul's bird:
Beard: 8-1/2"
Spurs: 13/16"

This is the third double that Kevin and I have had in 3 back to back years.

How did they come in?

very slow!

We did our homework on these birds and put them to bed last night so we knew exactly where they were roosting. It still took them awhile to finally commit and come in.

Beasleys strike again. Congrats guys
Did they gobble on the ground? Every bird we've seen has gobbled at everything we throw at them on the roost. Clam right up on the ground, just came in silent. No gobbling, no strutting.
