Opening morning I set up on some birds I had roosted the night before. With lots of hens the big toms went the other way and 7 hens a jake and the tom I killed came out to my setup. My smallest turkey but I decided to take him to try and get one with the bow. Sorry no pics. but his stas are:

19 lbs
6" beard
no spurs.

The second day I was setup in the same spot as opening morning. I was in my pop up blind with my Hoyt Katera. Unfortunately the birds didn't co operate and nothing happened. With it raining off and on. I put the bow away and decided to do some run and gunning at some of my other spots. Finally just before lunch time I located a tom out in a field. Patiently sitting in the fence row I called the tom in but he hung up. Unable to get a decoy out, I stopped calling. He worked in a little closer but still not close enough. Eventually he was started to lose interest so I decided to try and belly crawl a little closer. I was able to close the distance and harvest my second tom. I guess the archery tom will have to wait till next year.

22 lbs
8 3/4" beard
1 3/16" spurs

Right on Slim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :allright:
Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a bowel movement by the clean end
