i patterned a few loads through my gun, and what I ended up shooting out of my 870, with the tru glo gobler stopper choke, was federal flight control 3.5" #6. I patterned them, with good concentration of pellets for a kill on the turkey target out to 50 yards.

I shot my two toms this week, one at just over 40, and the other one was at about 45 yards, and it did a dandy job bringing them down. I was really impressed. My buddy was shooting the same shells, but in #5, and killd his bird at about 35 yards, and when he had patterned it, it was also a really impressive patern out to 50 yards.
