I was out Saturday for almost all day. I set up where I thought the turkeys were going after they left the roost. I listened to about 3 different gobblers sounding off at the geese flying over head. Anyway, I noticed something white colored near where I expected the turkeys to fly down. There, on the field lying down was a female coyote. I know it was a female because of her peeing technique. Anyway, she was there for about an hour, afterward she went to harass some ducks in the swamp in the bush.

Later that day, set up near where I was in the morning, I had a turkey vulture take interest in my decoy, He landed between me and the decoy, the decoy was facing away from me. I spent about 30min looking at him through the binos, before I thought he should move on, as he would hinder any turkeys from coming to me set up.

The gobblers never did show up, they went the opposite direction, I did have at least 4 different hens come into my setup, and one took a dust bath with 15ft of me. That was cool to watch.
