Well my 2008 turkey season went pretty good. I managed to roll two nice Toms, and guided for another 5 birds. Unfortunately I only have pictures of my Toms, my dads and my buddies. I've been waiting for the other pictures to be e-mailed. All were quality birds. My first bird was 21.5 lbs with a nice thick 9.5" beard my second Tom weighed 20.5 lbs and had a 10" beard. My dads Tom weighed 21 lbs and had a 9.5" beard and one really nice 1 3/8" spur. My buddies bird weighed only 17 lbs but had a 9" beard and quality spurs on it. Intestingly enough that was a really late season bird. It just wasn't very big. Im missing pictures of my sister boyfriends bird that I called in. It weighed 20 lbs and had a 9" beard and Im missing pictures of my buddies girlfriends bird I got her,it was the only Jake we took this year. I hope to be recieving pictures of my other buddies birds we guided for him from Alberta.

All in all it was a pretty good year. I Really wanted to get one with my bow this year, but after I shot one with my bow on the second day of the season and couldn't find it after making a perfect body shot on it Im convinced head and neck shots are the only way to go. IMHO. I used a 2" rage and the arrow was covered in blood. I chased the damn thing forever. Now I stick to my trusty shotgun.

Here's a few pictures.

Right on!!!!!!!!!! :allright:
Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a bowel movement by the clean end
