Free range turkeys!!

Anyone know what a free range turkey might be?I have heard of the term before but sadly I have no idea what it means :wub: The lady asked me did I want to order a free range turkey for thanksgiving and not asking any questions I said,"yeah order me up one".I have an idea what it might be but I could be wrong.Im still hoping to get a wild one this fall also. :D

Just a domestic turkey that gets to run around the barnyard as opposed to being in a cage its whole life. They usually have better flavor.

basically fed the same but is able to eat the bugs and plants and such that penned birds can't.

I would have to agree.......better tasting bird.

Definately better tasting, same thing with free range chickens.
