I was out this morning deer hunting and on the way home I saw some turkeys that were still in the roost at 10:30. Just wondering if this is normal? |

I have spooked turkeys and they flew up into the trees. They have taken some time before flying back down. Did you get so close as to spook them into flying into the trees. |

they could of been spooked back up in the tree's, a couple of years ago during turkey season i walked up on a jake sitting up in a tree about 10am, i left him be since the experience of the hunt wasn't what i was looking to remember |

I would agree that the population is growing, I have got a lot more turkeys in the area I hunt right now. |
