With all the deep snow we've had and extremely cold temperatures, how do you think the turkey's will fair?

No doubt, I wonder how they get through over a foot of snow.

Mother Nature can be cruel, the animals have to work harder for less when they need more.

saw where some turkeys had flown down and landed in the snow. They walked single file, really didn't have too much trouble and they weren't pushing as much snow as i thought they would. They were really hitting the bushes around the field edges, mostly eating all the burrs? Thought that was weird but what do i know. I really am not sure what they eat in the winter.
There was no sign of any attempts to scratch or dig down, just browsing on the plants. The snow is easily 3ft deep in the woods.
