Well, my hunting companion since I was 11 just passed away this morning She had been sick a lot over the summer, and more than once we thought we were going to have to put her down. During the last time, my dad said "Hang on girl, grouse opens in two weeks", and within 15 minutes, she was fine. So, yesterday after I drove home, we went out chasing grouse, were skunked, but had a really good time with my whole family. Then I woke up this morning to my dad saying that she'd moved on. I guess she picked her time, waited for that one last hunt. I'd had some amazing hunts over her, and I miss her so much already...Cory Here she is on a duck hunt last fall,

In a while will the smile on my face turn to plaster? Stick around while the clown who is sick does the trick of disaster For the race of my head and my face is moving much faster Is it strange I should change? I don't know, why don't you ask her? | |

Sorry to hear that Konaboy. I know the feeling as I had to put down my hunting beagle a long time ago and haven't owned a dog since. You should get another one. |
