My dog is not a hunting dog. But she was a great companion over the years and was very well trained (if I say so myself). She would sit, come and laydown on command. She knew when walking when I said "Wrong side" and immediately go to the left.

Almost no human food during those years and she NEVER slept on the couches or the beds (well....a couple of couches a few years ago).

Even when deaf she knew hand signals to come, sit and stay.

She had a major seizure in February and over the past month really showed signs of deterioration.

So, today I put down my very best friend!

Looking forward to meeting her in the future!

It always hurts when it's time for them to leave us, but the memories keeps them close.

She had a nice long life and is now in a better place.
