I share your pain taxman I just had My Lab of 10 years pass away while i was at a funeral of a hunting Buddy that also passed away. Things come in three's I can't wait.. NOT!! Hunter was a great dog he had all the tricks. he did sleep on the couch or for that matter whereevr he wanted. He had been great uop until a few days befor ehe suddenly quit eating and in 3 days was gone. I am thinking Cancer. At least he did not suffer. My wife is distraught so I made the deal last night ready for Christmas a new little man he is only 4 weeks old right now. Not that he will ever replace what once was. But the Grieveing is hard and i am hooping he can maybe ease the pain. My wife is saying no more i can't take this but she is a dog person and would have 10 if she could. My eldest Daughter just got a puppy PUG Ugly little cuss. My wife is crazy for this thing. Not very practical considering we just bought 87 acres. She would have to carry the thing.. So the new guy will be here for Christmas Morning . I think i am calling him Garmin.. Hope he works as good as My 60csx. If not he will be loved anyhow.. Will send Pictures when he arrives.. Here is one of my Buddy hunter that has gone to the great hunting grouds in heaven.. Hope the deer are more plentiful than here. he loved to chase them Well at leats till he lost sight of me..Again taxman sorry for your loss. But you know how hard it is when you lose I hate to think how much enjoyment we had in the last 10 if we did not get him in the first place..![]()

Truly a sad event. I consider myself very fortunate that Jessie was still able walk under her own steam and still cleared her bowl at every meal. It was simply that he hind legs were getting worse and worse and she was in obvious pain that made me decide to end her agony. Looking forward to the pictures of your new dog. Garmin's a great name! We are going to wait for a while to see how long we can do it, but both my wife and I have always had dogs. It's just that we can't dedicate as much time as we would like to ensure she would be properly trained. Good luck! Mike |

Sorry to hear about that, coptordoctor. I'm sure the new pup will make the grieving easier, and should ease the pain some. Enjoy the new pup. |
