This has been a longtime dream of mine and now a reality. It is a '47 Chev and I am going to restore into a custom rod. Roof is about to be chopped and lot's of custom work will be done.

Sorry for the late reply Gramma, just got back from Mexico! :wink:

Happy Birthday by the way! :cheers:

I am thinking the colour might be a burnt orange metallic. But that may change along the way. (;

Will post pic's of my progress...

Well I hope I'm not boring anybody here...

The front end has now been lowered with a Mustang II Conversion which will allow for disc brakes and better suspension. The front end has now dropped about 8". :thumbsup: The brackets in the front are where the bumper will sit.

I expect to be done next summer if all goes planned Mike. Got my rear axle in today and expect to have the ride height set up this week. Once I am done that, the cab will come off and the frame will be ready for paint. I will post pic's once that is complete. Also oredered a Fuel Cell from Summit Racing and a stainless steel dropdown battery box yesterday. Rear box is now disassembled and will be sending it off for sandblasting.
