This is the deer that would have been the new archery record if the G3 hadent of been considered forked? I read an article on this--to bad,he is one truely awesome deer ![]() Edit-- Unfortunately, there was disappointment yet to come; the panel ruled that what Dave had called the right G-3 tine was instead non-typical. This not only hurt the gross typical score but greatly increased the deductions for asymmetry, dropping the final score all the way to 172 5/8. Answered my own question |

That deer just sold to an American collector. I dont know how much $$$ was involved, but I do know its not near an amount that people would expect. Wayne has had many offers on this deer and the person who is getting it has been after it for 4 years. Wayne needed some funds to purchase a outfitters territory. The deer gave him a down payment. |

WOW Eh! .Well what the heck...it gives the guy the oppourtunity to do what he wants right? I know Milo got a blank check at one time for his, and he declined. Have to say on a personal note, if it was me , i'd have taken the cash as well and done close to the same thing...buy some awesome hunting property..good money for a down payment on hunting land all for some Calcium?...lol..you bet I would! |

i'd definatly get a replica and sell the real one...Milo hansons is a differnet story. A blank check would do but it would have to be a lot of money to pry that rack from my hands... |

The Zaft buck sure is a monster. It shows that the scroing system currently used needs to be revamped or have some different category for those deer. It dwarfs other bucks that score way more than that.

| I don't always chase tail, but when I do; its whitetail. Stay camo my friends. | |
