Here are a few pic's of 2 more Pear trees I add to the collection. I staked them this past weekend after these pics were taken. ![]() ![]() This next one is a Bartlett Pear planted last year ![]() Heres a Apple(Mac) planted last year ![]() A close up of the Mac ( I picked the apples after I took this pic so the tree puts its nutrients into roots and tree growth. I'll let it have apples year 3 or 4)

Cool pics. They are doing well. I had a major setback with my apple trees. Probably lost 10-12 out of the 30 this year due to 2 days of hard frost June 7-8th. They were budding and forming leaves and all look burnt and dead. Will see if there is any second life and will replace with something more hardy this fall or next spring. Grrrrr. What happened to this global warming thing? |
