If you know anyone who makes wine from scratch, the pressings (grape skins, seeds, etc) make excellent Deer bait, the deer love grapes (so do bears) and they can smell the aroma a mile away. Freeze it into a block, it’s easier to handle, and put it out. Put it out near the edge of the bush and don’t be surprised if you end up with a 2 foot deep hole as they eat and dig for the grapes and juices. The only down side is with the warmer weather you can get wasps so be careful once in place.
