today sitting in a stand above this plot every deer that entered the area fed here first ...saw a total of 7 deer tonight ....the plot was almost knee high in aug but now is only a couple of inches high and planted local coop seeds, ladino white and red clover, field rye and oats last fall, the rye and clover returned and i clipped most of the rye mid june .i never sprayed this area so it's not weed free but i'm very happy with it ...the plan is to expand it to double size ....oh and no snow here yet
