![]() Any advice as to what to plant in such a small area, it is looking east , so sunlight will be marginal throughout the day. I was thinking left over peas from other plot.Area is aprox. 30ft.X 200 ft. ![]()

Would you be able to clear some brush away making a perfect clearing in the middle? |

This would be a kill plot only and I would plant winter rye grain along with a little white clover. I would plant it around the end of August and come bow season you'll have some food to hunt over. This plot would be around 5000 sq. ft. (.114 acre) and I would throw down a bag of triple 19 before you plant. Rye will grow in low PH and needs some sun and it will green up again the following spring and grow tall through the following summer and die out. I would try to take out the odd large tree along the south edge of this plot to allow more sun in certain spots. Good luck, Friggs |

The owner is hesitant on cutting any of his future tree's, so i don't push it. I am allowed to remove branch's , i got my buck from here last fall. I have about an acre food plot south of this one, but the deer that come to it are pretty much nocturnal.
