Excellent job on that food plot bigr. How are your soya beans and field peas doing? Looks like you have a good seed distribution down pack, not overseeded at all. That is my problem my plots are so small I seem to overseed sometimes. Hope you received my PM. Cheers

Nice work Ray and great video's. I like the fact that you talk about both your successes and failures. I'm learning from you. Number one on my list of big items nedded is a tractor. Once I get one I'll be making a lot of plots. I have areas prepped for plowing. I was hoping to get a crack at planting some winter wheat but not looking good now. Next year.

Over seeding with some stuff is a problem but I do try to get an idea if I have only an acre or half an acre and seed to the size I have .
What I have learned to do is if I need 8lbs of seed, on an area, Try to only put 4lbs down on it. Then it gives me an idea how my seed rate is over the whole area eg, If I only used 3 lbs to do the plot at the seed rate I was doing, I now can go over it again at the same rate and be very close to having it bang on. The remaining 1-2 lbs at the end , I will again go over the whole plot till it is gone.
Its eaisier to get it wrong then right
