I believe they are Tillage Radish, I got a hold of Doug @ Quality seeds, he had a torn bag and sent me down 5 lbs . to Northumberland seed and grains in Cobourg. I thought that was great of him to do it and pass that on to others . Because i could not find it locally , it was a bit pricey per lb. i thought @ $ 3.45 . But what the heck , it sure did better than the Buck in a bag i planted on a small plot we have. I went out yesterday to put out more minerals and check cam's and forgot my digital camera to take pic's of plot. Bigr, i could not believe how thick and high the peas and radish is. Needless to say our soy beans did not fair to well.(got smothered) will plant them by themselves next year. Other than that , it sure is a nice plot, hope the deer enjoy it, haven't been out do to mother is living with me for a while till she recuperates from surgery. Missed 1 moose hunt, sure look'n to get in the Park this weekend for the moose hunt.

Wow! Very impressive. Obviously you got good growing conditions. My radish and turnip are not nearly as big, but since the frost the deer are hitting them hard. At this rate, they'll have them cleaned up before rifle season. |

Now we will see what happen's, i live in a AG area. The cash crops around me are pretty dominate. I think it will be interesting to see how much the plot will get browsed on. |

Well the peas got ate up pretty good, the Radish was ate, and the radish root did get ate a bit later after the season. I have not put any mineral out for a while, but noticed they have the soil all churned up. I put some salt and trace mineral out on Monday and there hitting it already. I have a nice buck coming in.
