Well it's not what your thnking.... This is April dawns and I future food plot for our garden, i cant believe we have this much (expecting some die off but not yet and doubtful) We have about thirty tomatoes (2 or 3 per pot) Broccolli about 30 (2 or 3 per pot) which we think we will have broccoli before we put them in the garden, 27 green peppers (2 per pot) 20 Jalapenos (2 per pot) 9 cabbage (2 or 3 per pot) Wow! Saved roughly about $430.00 we spent $50.00 doing it this way mind you we will only plant 8 tomatoes, 12 green peppers, 8 jalepenos, 8 broccoli and 4 cabbage we will also plant potatoes, cucumbers and pickling cuccumbers, green beans, red, spanish and green onions, carrots and corn. We will save our friends some cash this yr for thier gardens. woohoo

Good job bad dog. This is what this country needs, is to go more to small scale farming maybe on a little larger scale then bad dog although he knows what he is eating no genetically altered vegetables here, no dies, ,no herbicides, no pesticides. I should take more time to do this instead I go to the grocery store and get veggies from probably large scale farms that use all these items i just named. As a food plotter I use to want to have the perfect food plot initially sprayed with round up to only have my desired food plot species present, I have since changed my perception what is the perfect food plot. Once again bad dog excellent job and good eating.

Wow, have not planted any seed yet , but i will be. I made my first Bread &Butter pickles last year, dang were they good, i am hoping to do a lot more this year, bean's, tomatoes , etc. for the freezer. Got to love the foods that are not all chemical.

It is chemical free but it's the passion behind it and the satisfaction. To say everything you ate on your plate tonight came from a legally harvested animal (deer, moose, rabbit, grouse, turkey, fish and many other things) with a side dish of veggies or something like a chillie that takes the time and effort to make things grow and preserve...... I'll tell you one thing there is nothing better to pickle your own cucumbers and wait for the outcome of having home made pickles it is awesome, its a learning experience with recipes but once you find the right one (Wow) We eat everything fresh and then preserve alot, like tomatoes. beans, jalepenos, green peppers, cucumbers, herbs as in dill, thyme, oregano, basil, chives and a numerouse kind of hot peppers etc etc. Sure I can buy this at the store and pay less but in the long run just doing it yourself is awesome. I encourage everyone to give it a go, start small and see how you like it...... bet you will wish you had a bigger garden! Anyways this is just my opinion and as i said before there is nothing like having a meal knowing it came strictly from U!!!!!!!! :D PS! you can pickle any veggie you wish! just give it time and open it later and you would enjot it or i should say love it
