Ok so I got a little lazy. I tilled the earth real deep thinking I would destroy last years mix of rack stacker and weeds mix. I seeded soy and peas in early may. Well the soy and peas are growing but the plot is probably half soy and peas and half clovers and weeds. Deer are hitting it every evening so they are liking it. My plan was to spray half of it down end of July and wait a week, work soil again then seed brassicas before end of July. My goal was to provide the peas and soy on other side still but side close to my tree stand will grow brassicas. Will spraying and killing half the plot danger spiking deer away at all? If I spray and kill the whole thing right now and start again is it too late in season? I was thinking to maybe spray all of it ad kill it. Then work the whole acre and reseed the half of it. And don't seed other half until July for brassicas? What you think |

Mow it down if you can and then spray a week later. Don't plant brassicas untill August. What region are you in ? |

You should be planting brassica, no sooner then mid to late August. 8 weeks before first frosts in your area.
