Had a lot of rain in the Ottawa area the past couple of days and my clover plots are looking great! I have to mow them this week, cause the weeds are getting up a bit high and the clover is pretty high as well.

Hopefully this rain sticks around regular enough into July to allow for some good Brassica crops!! :cheers:

Were doing ok from what I have been told in North Bay. Deerfarmer sent me a couple of pictures this week of one of the plots of peas,beans and corn. 2.5 weeks and moving along nice.

Yup, rain is killing my veggie garden too. Had to replant my beans once already & the second planting only half of them sprouted. Just too wet & cold. The opposite of last year which was too hot & dry, lol. I won't even talk about food plots.

Our garden is doing amazingly good! I think this warm spell this week sure did help....

I got out and mowed 3 of the 4 clover/rye plots on June 12, one was real wet and wasn't in much need of mowing at that time....sorry for the pics, they were from my Crackberry....

Before...there is actually an old plot form last year tot he left of the juniper...it is being worked up and turnips/radish being put in as last years plot was a bust...as you can tell

I'm going to start prepping the areas that i am planning on planting turnips in this weekend hopefully.... with all this rain, it is looking good for planting.....is this weekend to early for planting do you think?? I was thinking prep this weekend...plant maybe next?? hard to tell when the first frost will be......

I would not plant turnips and other brassica before mid August !
