QDM TOOLS!! The USDA Plants Database will give you a ton of information on any plant in North America from ID to uses, sizes, distribution and so on. You can even search for the wildlife foods in your own state or county. A very powerful tool! The Quality Deer Management Association has a lot of articles and information available on its website. However, some of the most useful are the Deer Maps which give you deer density data for all over the entire country. You can look up your favorite hunting area and see the calculated deer density on the map. It's amazingly detailed right down to the county you hunt in and even more. This Oak tree identification file will give you information on how to identify different oak species through a downloadable PDF file available by the University of Tennessee Extension.
