So i took my daughter out on some public land today to do some shed hunting. We didnt have any luck but we did find some nice deer trails and a spot they have been yarding up so thats promising. Any tips or info you guys can give would be much appreciated.

South facing slopes near winter bedding areas Run those trails to and from and you should be successful

They are not easy to find, I've found a few small ones in the spring but not many. The biggest ones I found we surprisingingly in November while out gun hunting along a trail that went parallel along the edge of a big field. I guess the bucks were walking just inside the tree line and not out in the field when they dropped them. Found multiple ones that way. I'm heading out tomorrow to look myself. Good luck.
