First time in a long time i actually applied for a doe tag, and of course being a good dad when i bought my sons deer tag i threw him into the draw as well so we have choices this fall.
I always wait till the last day when i am up at my place before i choose to shoot a doe, rather take one of them than a young buck

That's great. I totally missed the deadline and forgot to put in for a tag. I woke up the next morning and remembered. Not that I would shoot a doe anyway but it is always nice to have the option and expecially if you are out with the kids.
