@ freak All hope is gone sounded alright to me.

The acoustic version of wonderful life was brilliant, and yeah that was the duette with Tremonti

Concerts I would like to go see:

Slipknot (original line up) R.I.P Paul, since he's died I kinda don't really wanna see them now :\ that's IF they even tour again.

System of a Down FUCK YEAH SERJ <3 Damned hiatus though

Serj Tankian, he usually comes round and I missed him the first time damnit.

Rammstein, doesn't look like it's gonna happen though:

1) since reforming they've already visited UK
2) Till is getting on a bit
3) Tickets are expensiveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Let me put this into perspective: Alter Bridge in 2010: £17.50, Slipknot in 2009: £40, Metallica in 2009: £40. Rammstein in 2010: £40 sitting, £80 standing. Fucking paying for all the flamethowers there.

I would also like to see Seether, one of my fave bands, however depressing they are lol

Alestorm headlining. (for those who don't know, pirate metal) They came to manc this october but only supported and I didn't want to spend £20 on a headlining band I didn't like.

Swashbuckle (more pirate metal but don't really tour UK)

Zebrahead :P keep missing them lol

and finally...... the band I wanna see live more than any else......... which I will never ever ever ever see live. Freak, this is my version of your Alter Bridge, my dream is to see Powerman 5000 live. But I will NEVER see them, because they aren;t even big enough to come to UK. At least AB go US freak ¬_¬ and they have to do shows at least close to you. Once upon a time (late 90's early 00's) Pm 5K used to be big, they were on WWE games and skateboard games as background music. Now they just tour clubs and shit :( It stinks, I so wanted to see them live :(

Myself, I'd like to see a Lady Gaga,
Hey why didn't you back me up when I said Gaga was my guilty pleasure?

Guilty Pleasure Thread

TBH though I don't think I would ever see her in concert though lol, that would be too much for me. Maybe with a girl though.

That was the duet!? Damn it.... maybe someone uploaded it.

They're from the U.S man, they spend most of their AB time in Europe though, literally, Tremonti lives like 6 hours from here. They FINALLY said something about a U.S tour though. They're supposed to be touring next summer, with some group called Sick Puppies opening for them. Hope they swing by Alabama or Tennessee, or, as much as I hate to say it, Mississippi (I absolutely hate Mississippi, I don't know why).

On topic: Other shows I'd like to go to:

Pearl Jam
Soundgarden: seriously, no explanation needed.

and a few more, but they're kind of more locally based.

I didn't think about Pearl Jam...Seeing Jeremy live would be enough for a lifetime.

Yeah, and Black, even though you can't beat the MTV Unplugged performance, imo. Yellow Ledbetter, Brother, and State of Love and Trust are a few I'd love to hear live.

Old School MTV live was where it was at! I remember in 1993, it was the first time we got an American Broadcast in Germany, and it was the 10,000 Maniacs on MTV Unplugged. Something I will never forget, even at the nooby age of 4.

Lol how the fuck can you even remember that? :P . C'mon Marth, you wish you truly lived in the 90s but let's face it you were in diapers like the rest of us.

Because I was 4 and it was a big fucking deal? Also I was not in diapers at age 4, thank you very much. I remember nothing else just everyone making a huge fuss about an American Broadcast, probably the only time I saw my dad happy. I had no idea who the band was til later though, I didn't mean like I remember it specifically like that...I just remembered when it came on TV. You have to remember, we did not have much TV outside from Government programming, so this obviously was huge.

Also at age 4 I remember going to Pre-School for the first time...is that also something I shouldn't remember? When the Soviets left when I was 5. When the Bosnian Wars Started when I was 6 and my brother had to go away to fight in it. Or when my dad died at age 7?

Think of it as you remembering the 9/11 attacks, obviously you do not remember the entire year or time period, but I'm sure you remember the day quite vividly. For me, I barely remember 9/11 at all because it was not a big deal to me at all. (No Offense) Now...when your president dragged the world to hell, that I remember. Think of it like that, I grew up in a seperated, belligerant country, so obviously whenever something positive happened, I usually remember.

I do not remember the early 90's at all, no. But I remember most of 1996-1999. And the entire 2000's. I remember nothing of the 1980's for obvious reasons.

There are stupid things people remember, that just happened to be mine.

I see your point man. Music was just different for me because I didn't start listening to any until middle school when I got my first iPod (first generation Nano).

I was more interested in video games until then haha :P
