I liked it, & you don't need lyrics to have good music. I like instrumentals myself. Two of my favorite (different from this) instrumentals are "Ahavo Rabo Taco Salad" by Alter Bridge http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nXiI4KcyPk and "Soundtrack to a Failing Relationship" by The Killing Tree http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYHvAxrEGBA For the record, the rest of TKT is pretty close to screamo, so if you don't like that type of thing, I advise that you stay away from their other stuff besides this and "Dressed to F##k." Personally, I'm not into the whole screamo thing, but some of their songs are alright. |

Dubstep, Speedcore, Chiptunes, and Synthpop are where it's at. You could say I enjoy niche electronic music

As much as I dislike music from anything before 1980. The only instrumentals I prefer are actually in the 1970's. I haven't really expressed this, but I am an avid fan of the Allman Brothers, and several of their songs are instrumentals. The one that comes to mind is Jessica which came out in 1973. However, I do enjoy the instrumental "Cliffs of Dover" by Eric Johnson which came out in 1990. However Netsky, a Belgium Electronic player is very skilled. In this song Memory Lane, it starts out slow, but around 1:06...it becomes an amazing electronic ballad. Listen if you have the time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cG7cRDcPY3k&feature=related Ironically the two Car Crashes I was in this year. This song was playing both times on Britain's Radio One XM station. Edited by Maarten_Spetzna, Dec 25 2010, 04:00 AM.

I don't think day9 even chooses the music on his stream, he doesn't even know the names of the songs OR EVEN THE GENRE half the time. |

Seen them live twice. Love me some Greg Allman! I also like Neil Young alot. For some reason, both them remind me of an early version of my favourite Band ever "The Smiths" and Morrissey's single efforts which I doubt that anyone besides Adam has ever heard of. But I still love the 1980's and 1990's as my favourite decade for music. Edited by Maarten_Spetzna, Dec 30 2010, 05:51 PM.
