This came easily for me, but I've been thinking about it all week. I've had the stomach flu since Sunday (symptoms are gone now), so I've just been laying around, listening to my Walkman (no thank you to Ipods). List was made up from my playlists on there.

Didn't know you liked Rise Against Marth. I hope they won't go back to the Appeal to Reason style on Endgame (their newest record, due out in March). AtR, albeit good, wasn't as great as their previous records, specifically Revolutions Per Minute (look that up if you haven't heard it, most people, in terms of individual songs, only know "Savior" or "Prayer of the Refugee").

Don't get me wrong, AtR was a great album. Every song was great, but, to me, it felt like something was missing.

The first songs I heard by them were "401 Kill", and "My Life Inside Your Heart". When you compare those to, say "Re-Education Through Labor" and "Audience of One", imo, that edge they had (and still have, look up the "Rise" EP and "Death Blossoms," those came out after AtR) is missing when you compare those tracks.

But then again, I'm an old Rise Against fanboy, but I still enjoy their new stuff.

Oh...well I didn't start listening to them until about 2007. I really didn't evolve into much Hardcore rock until after I graduated High School. I was always an Indie/Alternative Fan...but my favorite was always Progressive.

And I just realized I forgot to add Smashing Pumpkins into the 90's...
