Name: Lucien de Pons

Age: 20

Status: Inactive

Player: Sabrina

Roleplaying graphic detail: Yes, though preferably not often. Only squicks are incest and bathroom activities.

Signale: N/A

Appearance: Lucien is a prime example of D'Angeline beauty in youth. Long hair, sable dark, with eyes the color of a deep blue jewel. He might be mistaken for one of Kushieline lineage, save that there isn't a single sharp edge on him, not a hint of the tender cruelty that marks the scions of Kushiel. Still, he certainly carries the blood of one or more of the D'Angeline angelic ancestors, tall and lithe and almost delicate. Pretty as he is, he will never be mistaken for a woman, for there is a decidedly masculine forming to his nose, full lips, and strong brow.

He is still pretty enough to have been called the angel of many on his travels.

Background: Very little is known about Lucien's past. He's been with a small rural Temple of Naamah in Eisande most of his life, since he was barely a toddler. Fostered at the temple, he ran wild with other orphans and abandoned children, as well as the children of the nearby estates. "De Pons" is the name he takes from the temple where he grew up, as it is located near a small lake referred to by the locals as "the Pond."

Most children in the temples or Night Court know their destinies between the ages of six and ten; either knowing to whose service they are called, or knowing to which House they will go. Lucien did not begin his training in the ways of Naamah until the age of thirteen, thus was far behind the others, save perhaps for those who came from Gentian House, though they never saw any of those city-bred adept-priests in their small temple.

Thus, at the age of nineteen, Lucien finally set out on his year-long journey as an acolyte. Now he is twenty, and nearing the end of that time. He has decisions to make about where he will go after. Will he return to the country temple by the Pond, or settle in the city? Or, after being officially accepted to the priesthood as a priest in his own right, will he continue to wander, and follow Naamah's will where she wills?

For now, in the City, he's decided to pay a visit to the Night Court, to each House in turn, and learn what he may of this disturbing royal proclamation.

Demeanor: No one can doubt that Naamah's grace sits on him, for he walks with the easy carriage and expression of someone without a care in the world, and has a warm smile and open arms for all he meets. He speaks little, preferring to let others speak.

In private, he is much the same, though perhaps with a more thoughtful bent to his silence. He's seen things in the City that worry him, and while that worry cannot quite break the calm of Naamah's grace while it sits so strong during his year of travel, it has made him frown more often since his arrival.
