Tidus Whitetooth

Tidus was bored. He had already taken care of the usual maintenance for Nightgazer's keep (taking care of an army of the undead is quite simple, as they have no need to eat, breathe, sleep, or other such things), and was finding it quite troublesome that he did not have a keep of his own, despite being a so-called Archmage, which made staying in the dank place all that more uncomfortable. As such, he set out to find something to do. Seeing as he was already several other places in time at the moment, he was unable to go much further than a few seconds forward or back. He also was forced to rule out his usual barbarian chieftain disguise for roaming about amongst the people, as there was currently no invading army, circus, or other excuse for such a person to wander very far from his frozen home.
This left Tidus with one more option for his adventure-- his game warden disguise. thinking about it for a few moments, he realized that this may be a good opportunity to not only escape from the boring blackened-stone keep, but to also find a decent location for him to erect a wizards tower of his own. not only that, but he would also be able to release some of his wolf-self's bottled aggression and anxiousness at having the stench of rot so close by.
So Tidus then ventured off, past the small wasteland produced by the necromantic magics emanating from the keep, and into the forest, where he cast a quick spell on himself to change into the green-and-brown tunic and green cap of his disguise. to add to the effect, he pulled a longbow from the sub-planar pocket that he kept it in, and slung it over his back.
"hmm... not the best work I've done," he commented aloud to himself, "but it should work untill I'm far enough into the forest to change forms without some paranoid villager seeing me and spreading 'wolf-man' rumors." Tidus had had enough of angry pitchfork-and-torch wielding crazy people for one lifetime.
Once beyond the reach of the usual trappings of civilization, Tidus removed his tunic, breeches, and other assorted clothes; and began the swift, smooth transition to his wolf form. He found that despite the tales of extreme agony associated with the curse, when one accepts the wolf rather than fights him (or her), it becomes much less painfull, and more freeing.
Once finished, he then went for a run, towards his usual favorite watering hole, A pool formed underneath a waterfall, with a small clearing around it.

Her cat form was more like a mini cheetah than anything else, with a body built for running, and she darted through the woods happily. She hadn't been able to get out for the past couple of days, and while she didn't need to shift, it certainly made life easier when she could. It was one of the few downfalls of the Warlock's experiments, that she could be in none of her forms comfortably enough to call that form her own, but meh. She was free from him now, even if he did somehow end up here, there were more than enough people who could take care of him for her without any trouble at all.

She caught the scent of something, canine perhaps, but it soon faded, leaving her alone in her running. It wasn't a big concern, there were many animals in the woods, and there was no possible way that she was the only one lured out by a day like this. She headed deeper and deeper into the forest, and before she knew it, she was in a completely unfamiliar area. She wasn't worried about being lost, getting back would be half the fun, and she slowed to a walk to better explore.

It wasn't long before she came upon a clearing, with a pool underneath a beautiful waterfall, and a unfamiliar wolf. He smelled of magic, and that made Kit wary. "Greetings," she said, her ears twitching. He was one to watch, but for some reason, she felt as if he wasn't anyone for her to be worried about.

"Curious." Tidus said, speaking in the local human tongue. slightly startled at the fact that this feline for one snuck up on him, without being scared away by the fact that he was a wolf. A rather large one, at that. "Do I know you?" Tidus continued, "I would usually remember a smell such as yours. Do you not fear me? Or have you simply lost your way, and as such are simply too exhausted to care anymore?"

If anything gave him away as being not a beast wolf, as opposed to a shifter, it was that. She had hardly been stealthy on her way in, and a normal wolf should have at least smelled her coming. She hadn't been downwind at all.

Still, he was curious, and that made her curious, and her tail twitched in response. "Should I be afraid of you, dear wolf?" He was a stranger to her, and so should she be to he. "And I do not believe that we have ever come across each other before. They call me Argent. May I inquire to something that I may call you?" She didn't care if it was his real name or not, name's were easily worn and easily discarded. She just wanted something to call him by. "Have I intruded into your territory?"

"I am called many things. Tidus being the most prominent among them." he replied. "you have no reason to fear me, and my territory is the world. Wherever I may travel."
Tidus sniffed the air curiously. "Tell me something. Is this your only form?"

"Well, well. It seems as though everyone is a tad stealthier than normal." Tidus said as he shifted to his half-human form, Keeping the strength and dexterity of the wolf, and the hands and ability to stand upright of the human. He summoned a sword from an extradimensional portal. "not to worry, miss Argento." Tidus said. "This should be over quickly, and we can then continue our conversation."
