This thread details the training requirements to advance in status among us here in the Senju clan. Unlike in future times, where ninja are ranked Genin, Chunin, Jonin, and Kage, that system has yet to be developed. In this day and age, the Senju clan has the following ranks; In-Training These Senju are our youngest members; the next generation. They have just come of age, and are now starting their real ninja trainings, only learning the basics to ninjutsu, taijutsu or genjutsu. Around this time, in-training Senju clan members discover their chakra nature and often discover a weapon of choice for battle purposes. They are often taken under the wing of a higher-up Senju clan member to master their respective elements. As of recently, to surpass this rank, the Senju clan member must understand and accept the idea of the Will of Fire. Soldier The warriors of the Senju clan, this rank is given to those who have excelled in their specific skill and have mastered some form of combat. They are what makes up the majority of the Senju clan, becoming the troops that directly fight during war. These Senju clan members have shown to take on In-Training clan members under their wing to train in their specific field of ninjutsu, taijutsu or genjutsu. General The highest rank, besides Leader, their are few Generals amongst the Senju clan. Serving directly alongside the leader, they are some of the strongest the clan has to offer. A noted and common attribute of the Generals is that they maintain some form of advanced chakra nature or even a rare form of hand-to-hand combat. Training Requirements 1) To get from In-Training to Soldier; There are a few choices you have if you want to rank up from the lowest rank to the rank of Soldier. The most basic, and widely accepted, method is to train with a higher ranked Senju and learn the ropes of ninja fighting. The thread must have at least 30 posts minimum in it, and the In-Training needs to learn of their specific chakra nature or have proven themselves in the field of battle. Confirmation that the In-Training Senju has accepted and learned the Will of Fire is also required. Another option is to go on missions for the Senju and complete them with relative success. Once you have completed enough missions where you feel like your In-Training is ready to become a Soldier in our army, simply PM Hohenheim with all the links to those missions, as well as a link to your character, and I'll review them and give you a response. 2) To become a General; Generals are an important aspect of our Senju war effort, but there will be few. The exact number of Generals needed depends on the amount of members we have in the Senju. To become a General you must have participated in at least two MAIN THREAD battles against the Uchiha or Uzumaki, as well as have gone through basic ninja training as an Initiate, and have completed at least two missions for the faction. Once you have done that, PM Hohenheim with the appropriate links and I'll give you and interview over PMs. If I find you satisfactory, I will allow you to become a General. About Status Ranks are a show of skill and maturity, but having a rank alone does not command respect over your Senju brethren. Status, or respect for a better word, is the most important thing to an Senju male or female. Respect is gained through acts that get others attention, such as completing a mission that no one else would do because they fear the danger, or saving your fellow brethren on the battlefield. The greatest prestige one can gain among the Senju is to have an Uchiha rival; to have fought and lived against an Uchiha on the battlefield, and then to have made that Uchiha one's rival is the action of the utmost reverence among the Uchiha. This tradition was delved from the bitter rivalry between our leader, RitsuryĆ, and the Uchiha's leader Ryun. The more respect you command in our clan, the greater you will be looked upon by both your peers and your elders. Edited by Hohenheim, May 16 2011, 11:19 PM.
