![]() Saeyuku Kuromaku Low-down? That is a word people often use to describe me, when they say I have no honor. I don't think of myself that way. For what is honor? It is the fuel of war, the driving force behind all slaughter, the upward draft for every vulture that comes to relish the corpses of once valiant men. I am full of that honor. On my own accounts, I've been responsible for the deaths of hundreds of men, women and children, simply through a few whispers here and a few rumors there. People are so easy to rig, it's not my fault that the simply drop of a casual word like "murder" ensures the gathering of arms. Action - Reaction. I'm just a gear in the wheel of causality. I was born into the Kuromaku Clan, in my eyes the most truthful and unblinded clan within the whole world. We do not concern ourselves with things such as "pride" or "honor", instead we focus on the important things in life, feeding our children, education, placing our little peddle in the great river of the universe. And to pay for that, we exploit the fools who call themselves the "great clans". I'm grateful that our clan is the only one to glance over the fact that, while the wars are pointless indeed, they are also incredibly "enriching" when one looks at it from the right way. I believe that, and so I teach. My childhood was swift and regretful until I enrolled into the academy. I was a sharp kid, so my teachers say, quickly understanding that there was no point in arguing and I would better focus on the exercises at hand. I was a prodigy, outclassing any student in my year. In fact, I outclassed every student in the entire school. I graduated in two years, instead of the normal five, and immediately began to develop my own style of swordsmanship, 'cause the one we learned at the academy didn't please me much. Ah, so nostalgic, those memories. Anyways, skipping the boring parts, I eventually became the clan leader after the previous one died. The first thing I did was butcher the guy who killed him, of course. Hurting one Kuromaku is hurting us all. Wait, ins't that a code of honor? Never mind what I said. Just messing with ya head. And now, the time for war has finally arrived. Already I feel my blood shivering under the thought that there are chances of my blade getting stained again. Monstrously delicious, I might say. I can already taste the pleas of desperadoes who need their filthy work done. Whoever is gonna lose this war, I'm gonna win. Jutsu Flying Swallow: Saeyuku has shown to utilize the Flying Swallow to great extent in combat, even being able to launch crescents of chakra when he swings his blades. These blades have the cappability of cutting through stone and wood, much like the blade-bound version. Godless Perception Technique: As the head of his clan, and a child prodigy, Saeyuku has great mastery over his clan's gentaijutsu, presumably the greatest within the whole clan. He skill reaches far enough to be able to extend his illusionary cloak's influence over stationary non-sentient objects, if he himself is also stationary when initiating the technique, allowing him to pass through walls and barriers unimpeded. Beside this, his cloak is also unnaturally strong, capable of ensnaring even unwary Sharingan users within it's ascendancy. Also, Saeyuku has honed his practice so much he can activate the technique without nearly any outside sign, except for his normally maroon eyes turning into a brilliant golden. Equipment Santai (三諦, Threefold Truth): Saeyuku sports a unique set of swords which on first sight only appear to be a single blade. In reality, it is a triple-sectioned blade that he forged himself within the blacksmith of his village. The main blade is a modified gladius, the second is a slimmer, shorter sword hidden in the handle, the last is a spear-head like dagger hidden within the pommel of the second blade. The hilt itself is bamboo, segmented in three pieces, each belonging to one of the blades starting from above. Saeyuku is extremely skilled with wielding these three blades simultaneously, capable of juggling them and holding them between his toes. He prefers close-distance fighting and then using his two greatest blades to overwhelm the opponent, hiding the dagger for a surprise attack. His style is very acrobatic and dance-like, preferring to toy around with his opponents before finishing them. |
