Stretching three quarters of the known world, the Hellish Lands are ruled by the tyrant Empress, Morrigan - also known as Morrigan the Nightmare. She rules through fear, hence the name 'Hellish Lands'....because these places are truly Hell to live in!

The few very small, and fortunate areas that have yet to be conquered by the Tyrant Empress, and have remained 'free'. It's only a matter of time before she sets her sights on them too, however.

Formerly the United States of America and Canada, this isolated land mass is now a 'no go' area for all who do not wish to perish in an untimely and most likely very, VERY painful death.
Being the largest threat to the Empire during the USA's final days, it was necessary for the Empress to 'deal' with this threat in a way that left no survivors. Nobody knows what actually happened to the once magnificent continent or it's people, but it is common knowledge that these days, anyone who goes to the 'Uncharted Territories' does not return.

The original goal by the Christians was to reclaim Jerusalem and the Holy Lands from the Muslims. But things very quickly spiralled out of control.

The period in European history from about the 14th to 16th centuries regarded as marking the end of the Middle Ages and featuring major cultural and artistic change.

Humans begin to boldly go where 'no man has ever gone before'. Lands are discovered, and the very first 'world maps' are created.

"The sun never sets on the British Empire", simply because its span across the globe ensures that the sun is always shining on at least one of its numerous territories.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, we are at war!"

Has your character done something in their past (in their own personal timeline, not the history of the world) that you want to share with everyone? Perhaps it gives more detail about a specific part of their life? Perhaps it explains how they aquired a specific skill, or found true love for the first time? Or perhaps it was their fifth birthday and they got an amazing present!
