^ Is incorrect. I find it very funny and doesn't care that much about it for the rest. (See, "te" in dutch can be translated to both "to" and "too", and it can also mean both. Reversed translation could either mean "te" is included, or that it could be left out, yet the line spoken/typed may remain the same in essence). < Is having a bad luck month V loves slurpies |

^ I sort of like them once in a while... < Wants to teach you too/to and then/than. Okay, here goes. TOO = when you wish to do something also or when saying too much or too many. Example: Yeah, me TOO. (Or) Has poked people about typos far TOO much. TO = It's used for saying you're going places, or whenever you aren't using TOO. Example: Lets go TO the store. (Or) Did you go TO the play yesterday? THEN = I'm not sure how to define this, so I'll just give examples and hopefully that will help. Example: Okay THEN, lets go. (Or) Well THEN, I guess I agree. (You can also use it to say things like "Back THEN") THAN = Used to compare two things. Example: He's better THAN me at typing. (Or) I'd rather smell feet THAN smell a cow's ass. These are kind of crappy descriptions, I could help more in person but hopefully the examples will help a bit. v Hasn't played Romance of the Three Kingdoms. |

^is correct < is at the moment, reading Stephen kings "Cellphone" (or "mobile", im not sure what the english name of the book is). I am scared shitless and I'm just at half the book. I love it. V Has never eaten a turkish pizza (PS slappy, the reason I have problems with then and than, is because they both translate or can translate to the dutch word "dan". And "dan" can translate to both those words back. See the problem?) |

(Sorry I'm not doing the game, but no RPG, I speak English and always have, so I wouldn't be able to see the problem. Anyway, if it didn't help it's probably because I explained it wrong, I didn't really take much time and now I'm tired. Ah well, we'll understand what you mean if you mess up.) |

I can see why your not knowing the proper usage of the words would be a problem if the usage of those words actually required translation from one language to another, but they don't. "Than, then" and "Too, to" are limited almost exclusively to English, meaning that their definitions, while different from each other, are grammatical constants. Their respective definitions never change, nor does the context that you use them in. "Than" will always mean what it means now, and has always meant. Same goes for the other words. So, regardless of what those words are translated to, for whatever reason you're translating them in the first place, their definitions never change. So saying you don't understand their usage after twenty-something years of age due to translation errors is nothing short of an excuse to not know how to use simple grammar. Translation of these words has nothing to do with their proper usage because they're English words and English is the only language they're totally "compatible" with. What they boil down to in Dutch is irrelevant. Now, you may be thinking of bringing up the point that you want to use them properly in the Dutch language as well. You are. If you say "dan", the context of the word and its placement in a sentence will define it further. |

^will still lose to xantar in the battle of the robo-cats, even with his underwear that people will pay a million bucks for < just finished reading the Stephen King book "Cell" (thats the original name, looked it up). I loved the book, untill I reached the final 20 pages. In the final 20 pages, Stephen King actually managed to ruin the entire story. God-DAMN how I hate those accursed "open endings" (no good ending, no bad ending, the reader is kept in the dark of how things actually ended). V Should name the last book he or she has read |

^Is absolutely correct, but I'd like to know the author/s of those books. <Hasn't had time to read anything new lately. The last book that I read was "The Dark Tower" by Stephen King. V Knows who Stephen King is, and has seen a movie or read a book by him. |

^ Correct: Read It, The Stand, and a few other things. I'm gonna start the Gunslinger once i'm done with this series. That author is John Marco. The novels are fantastic, but he's does a hell of a job developing characters. I know this because I want to smack the shit out of one of them. <Is giddy for 300 V Will likely "Ghost Ride the whip" |
