Hunting in the Jungle

I could not see through
The Forest, like some
Mist that covered everything.
Then out of nowhere a branch,
Fell on top of me fast like
Lightning falling on top
Of me, cracking my bones.
Restful. There I lay,
On the floor lost,
Floor vanishing, with hungry animals,
Food pickings on the floor,
When the Forest floor gave of a bodily
Odor.

For several years later,
People came, who’s thoughts
I could hear, of death stories.
Those which wanted known
What was in this deadly jungle game?
Well here animals raged and killed.
And there was deadly shrouding
Jungle mist and many a hunter’s misfortune.

I knew the jungle well,
Was not for us adventuring travelers
Ever to set foot,
But a forest filled with wild animals, beasts.
So I set out back home, hunting rifle in hand,
In hopes of finding the best quarry.

Time Bomb

Thinking deeply I knew
Something inside of me was beating,
and so I knew I was being tricked
When I heard something clicking.
And so I wanted to know how much
Longer I’d live.

Mechanical clocks were ticking inside hearts,
Setting the time to detonate,
And I knew one day it would,
And that death would come swiftly,
It would. I needed to play
The waiting game.

So I stood there watching,
As time was passing by idly,
And when it all stopped one day,
A massive explosion ignited,
And gone were those old days
Of time well spent.
Fate in the hands of time
Collided, and the clock rung click
Tick and I was dead.
Note: My english writing skills need work so don´t even think of asking me to change it entirely or relearn my english (the impossible). I don´t like the signature, I willl eventually add a picture.
