Poem on Sounds Saccharine sweet, mellow song, Like townsfolk, where there Sound muffled steps, Walking I will not stay behind. Calamitous when they gather Like a crowd, I look around the corner of my Eyes. The ear picks up what What you don’t see. Hear a sound pick up when the wind mills spins, Hear it when the churned butter moves, When the river is buoying With water, When it rains, When the people gather and walk, When you Hear laughter, and think to yourself There is much more to this when The sounds are heard when You do not hear the sounds And remember what it means. When they hear basic noise, The sound nipped and snapped and gave pain to our ears. But like angels that play Harps we know that with which complexity we have been Fooled. Because we try Remembering these sounds And we don’t remember them. Only the sounds of everyday We do. |
| Note: My english writing skills need work so don´t even think of asking me to change it entirely or relearn my english (the impossible). I don´t like the signature, I willl eventually add a picture. | |
