That's not how the outraged people are looking at this, but that's still pretty much what it comes down too.

The funny thing is, I doubt this wouldn't have as much press if the situation was reversed.
THIS is my side, THIS is the demiltarized zone, and THAT is your side.

"Good and Evil" is too complicated. I prefer, "Us and Them".

If you ever wonder what to do in life, ask What Would Jack Bauer Do, because what Jack Bauer would do sure as hell will get things done faster than what Jesus would do.

Someone who made a comment was careful to point out that this isn't the first inter-racial couple featured in a disney movie. Pocahontas had this one beat by a good 14 years.

Esmerelda was with two white guys right? The Hunchback and the blond fellow.

Anyway, if you vote on that page it tells you that 73% of voters voted "No, it isn't offensive."

I'm part of an interracial relationship, so I say more power to them. I don't personally find that race and color has anything to do with how I perceive people or relate to them. I have a majority black friends and a black girlfriend and I'm decidedly pale and blond. I don't act thugged out, nor am I what you would call a wigger. I pay attention to whether the people I choose to associate with are to my liking by noticing their humor, friendliness, and intelligence. Not the size of their muscles, nose, or their hair texture.

I will say that my girlfriend's family isn't a HUGE fan of her dating a white boy, but they are accommodating and don't judge me too harshly most of the time. They are also very proud people so I guess that has something to do with it. Strangely enough my rather conservative family (though I'm very liberal) has absolutely no problem. Even my grandma says that Danielle is beautiful and she's very happy for us. I think Ellen DeGeneres was the influence there. My grandma loves that show.

Xantar: And for your information, I didn't call on any minions. They got into this on their own, and they seem to be having a blast.

Marci: Screw you too, I'm not your minion.

Xantar: Also, Makokam is not my minion. Just thought I'd point that out.

Wait. Disney is making a non-CGI movie?

Also, Asians technically have not been represented by a Disney princess. We got Mulan, but she's not and never aspired to be a princess. I guess she makes up for it by being a kickass martial artist, though.

Do you think The Little Mermaid represents an inter-species romance?

Xantarcube: Dragon, I need you to render a thief. She should be a 15-year old girl with ninja-like abilities and a knife. Try to give her a badass pose, too.
Dragon of DTT: Ok. How's this? http://www.purevideogames.net/images/Character_Art/thief_full.jpg
Mortal Kombat: Dragon. Wins. L33tality!

Dragon of DTT: Don't complain. Buy a hooker.
Xantarcube: What am I going to do with a hooker?
Dragon of DTT: Wii Sports.

Shadyshark: but adrienne may be pregnant
Shadyshark: or have cancer
Shadyshark: she's hoping for cancer

Seriously. Even I'm in my signature. Fix yours.

On that matter what about Beauty and the Beast?

I'm unsure if that would be put down to inter species or just plain old beastiality.

Disney = Sexual innuendo abounds?

I eat babies. Also, read my fanfics.

So...do you have any interest in necrophilia?

Don't worry about it being too long - we like long here.
