Well I don't know about anyone else, but I have been busier than ever this Summer! Been planning my wedding for the past couple of months. I'll be getting married on June 20th. Hopefully for the rest of my life. So yea my lease on freedom expires in about a week. Furthermore we're expecting a 3rd child to be born in November, and we wont know the gender til later this week. Thats more or less my front page news. Add to this that I am still working full time (overtime 45-50 hours a week), and I also play in a ultimate frisbee league on Monday nights. Despite all this I still find time to squeeze in my weekly Sunday BBQ. Usually this is more of a pot luck deal where everyone that comes contributes what they can. Its all in the name of good fun, and it keeps my Sundays/Mondays busy during football off season. So thats my good word...or words. Whats everyone else doing? Any good xbox360 games to recommend? Has anyone seen the Star Trek movie, and is it any good?? Edited by Malagossa, Jun 15 2009, 08:28 AM.

Everybody in this apartment is poor, so we don't really have any plans, just going to "The Worlds Most Beautiful Amusment Park"(if it still holds that title) later this month with the neighborhodo family center. My roomates are getting married(to each other) next year, so they're trying to squirell away whatever cash they can. I didn't see Star Trek, but I did see Terminator: Salvation, and that shit was BAD ASS. I highly recomend it to anyone looking for a couple hours of intense ass-kickery. I am however, going to try and get my writting motor back into gear and produce some quality fanfiction if I can, and maybe even something all my own, as well as RP while people don't have tests to studdy for or homework to do. That's my good word. |

Word I have been trying to find the time to catch it. I heard it was one of those gotta see in the theater type of flick. I'd also like to catch the new terminator movie, and "Up" seems to have people talking too. Not to mention the new Harry Potter, and the new Transformers movies are coming out this summer right? My oldest son has been looking forward to seeing those. I'm just so strapped on time, but I may be able to drag out the wifey for one of these movies as early as this week. |

Yeah Star Trek was pretty amazing, I wouldn't miss the chance to see that one. I saw it twice. Once with the guys, next with my girlfriend. She cried at the beginning, its pretty emotional, but the rest is action-packed and hilarious. They do a good job of opening the franchise back up and making it so they can do whatever they want now. They also incorporate all of the catch phrases really well in my opinion. The cast is great to boot. I saw Terminator with my dad because he loves the Terminator series, and if Star Trek is a five I give Terminator a 3.7. It's action-packed, but way too loud at all times. Christian Bale did fine but Sam Worthington did better in my opinion. The end became a bit unbelievable and then big ending blew pretty hard in my opinion, but if you see it you'll realize that they just wanted to make it so that Christian Bale could come back in the rest of the movies that will surely follow. Oh, and why are those robots silent whenever they need to sneak up on someone but eardrum-busting-loud otherwise? Oh, and both movies have an actor in common which is sort of cool, and he does well in both. Make some time for Star Trek, and soon because it won't be long before its gone. If you get some extra time I'd suggest Terminator as well. It was good but not amazing for me. I hear Up is pretty good as well. My cousin saw it and liked it. |

Am i the only person who didn't think the movie was loud? I swear, the volume of the movie never even crossed my mind. |
