Does anyone know of a good place to get insurance to cover trials. We are shopping for a new policy. If anyone has a good idea please post cost and what it actually covers.
Thanks
Kevin

if you just want to cover your trials go with akc ins. or national beagle club. but they only cover your trials not the buildings or any thing on a daily basis. our club is in to that now mononvalley in wv. we have found it from 2000 to 300 a year from different ins. outfits just shop localy .

We had insurance here at the house on the running pens and the area we hunt on the outside. We got it through QDM Quality Deer Management an organization the promotes deer clubs. The insurance is very reasonable the price is based on the acreage covered. Fortuneatly we have never had to use it! I covers fire arms, hunting accidents regular accidents, horses etc. It is the same coverage that Weyhauser uses on their hunting leases. You can look up QDM on the web

I guess our issue at this time is that since we run on IDNR ground they require us to have insurance. Not to cover participants, but to cover the general public driving around the park and picnic areas. I guess someone believes that field trial beagles are attack dogs?????
