This is a male that my brother started and then laid up. He is over 14" and is a good looking tri-color male. He needs to be put back in the starting pen or fed an abundance of tracks.

I took him out and he worked but never contributed to the race with some other derbies. I mostly sell to rabbit hunters and he needs some time before he is ready to sell.

This male just needs a chance.

$100 - Until I get some other pups out of my pen. After I get time for him the price will change!

Some local guys that I promised months ago that I would start there pups came out monday and there was a little boy with them. During our conversation I discovered that this boy (10 years old) had lost his father.

This boy was helping me shuffle my dogs around and I could see that he loved these beagles. He didnt have a dog of his own but I could see the little "rabbit hunting gleem" in his eye.

When we made it to the pen he saw this male and said, "he is a pretty male!" When we got back to my barn I handed him his new dog's AKC papers. The little guy was on cloud nine and was even higher!

When I told my wife tears whelped up in my eyes and even now I feel the same way. A dog cant replace a daddy but it can make a little boy smile for a while.

I have recieved much more than the boy out of this! Cory "Co - Co" is his name and after talking with his great - uncle yesterday he said that his father died from pancreatitus 2 years ago AND his mother died last year from anerexia.

The great uncle also told me that Cory killed 4 rabbits last time out hunting!

I look forward to trying to develope a relationship with Cory.
