I never have been very smart. Do good a lot of times just to get by. One thing I don’t understand is why people continue to breed to stud dogs that don’t produce. I personally know of several stud dogs that have been bred at least one hundred times and never produced anything. They continue to get breedings. I’m smart enough to know that if I’m driving hundreds of miles and paying for a brucellosis test and stud fee, I want to go with the best odds.

If you want to win the big hunt, breed to producers. Don’t be jealous of any man’s stud dog if he can help you!

Driver has produced a derby national champion, three hounds with wins and numerous licensed trials places in a handful of breedings. If your hounds need to learn how to ride a line for a long time without falling off, Driver is the answer!

IT REALLY DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU BREED TO HIM. I HAVE SEEN LITTLE AND BIG OUT OF HIM. YOU HAVE PROBABLY HEARD THIS A THOUSAND TIMES BUT I HAVE NEVER HAD WHAT YOU WOULD CALL JUNK OUT OF DRIVER. ALL OF THEM ARE NOT TRIAL DOGS BUT THEY ARE RABBIT DOGS AND YOU CAN TAKE THAT TO THE BANK. HE HAS NOT BEEN BRED HARDLY ANY. I KNOW IF GIVEN A CHANCE HE WILL PRODUCE.

BASCHE HOW IS YOUR FEMALE LOOKING?

I have two Pro Driver females and they are both border Line. They measure from 12 7/8" to 13 1/4". Both are solid, med. speed, line control, check pickers, and great clear strong Chop mouths. You can't shake them up. No matter what you put down. Rough, wide, swinging, fast- these two hounds just keep a steady knocking at your back door until you miss the check. Then they clean it up. I plan on breeding both of them to F.C. Gilkey's Post Oak Caesar. They are line breed back to F.C. Thorn Gap Gib. One is out of Gib's full sister and the other one is out of a female out of Gib. One is 13 months old and the other is 2 1/2 years old. You can't blow either of them up. I ran them with 4 other hounds for 5 hours and they were running the same no matter what other hounds they were running. The longer they ran the better they got. Congradulations owner of Pro Driver.
