I was reading a post on another forum that said that Shorts Pro has produced 90 field champions. I have a 1973 H&H magazine that has Pearson Creek Carson in it at eight years old and he has a list of 110 field champion sons and daughters as of 1973. Some are saying on the other forum that Pro has surpassed Carson. I have a list that says he hasn't.

SALZER MNT---I DON'T THINK ANYONE IS PURPOSELY MISLEADING US. IF YOU WILL POST YOUR INFO ON THAT SITE I THINK IT WILL BE WELL RECEIVED.

I HAVE HOUNDS AND HUNTING DATING BACK TO 1946 AND SOMEWHERE IN THERE I BELIEVE THEIR IS A PIERSON CREEK DOG ADVERTIZED WITH 130 PLUS FC. IT MAY BE THE SAME DOG THAT YOU HAVE REFERED TOO.

Being an old brace trialer (circa 1951 to 1957) I think there were several dogs that produced thirty or more Field Champions. But before someone says prove it I will say I am basing this on memory, since my editions of H&H were destroyed when our family house burned in 1962. So in saying that, I will say that it is quiet possible that Carson Had more than a hundred F C's to his credit.
