Arabella wandered the depths of the Forest. Thinking about death...something common in Seda. She let her Edwardian boots crackle and snap the fallen twigs upon the dense forest floor, gently letting her pale, delicate hand brush from tree to tree. She sighed heavily...curious what a new life could ever possible mean to her... |

Maxwell sat under one of the many trees in the dark forest, his eyes closed, thinking about his past couple of days in Seda....they had been...interesting. He could say that at least. And welcoming could be admitted. He shrugged at his thoughts, pushing them away, he sat up straighter and looked out into the trees...waiting to see if he would have another vision. |

Arabella suddenly stumbled upon the path of a young man sitting under a tree. He looked rather strong and slightly gruff. She let a soft gasp of shock part from her lips, as she stared directly at him. "Pardon my intrusion." she said softly. Her eyes wide with curiousity about this new face. |

Maxwell suddenly snapped up his gaze, meeting a woman's eyes, he quickly looked down, losing his concentration. "Oh...well, it's quite alright." He said, letting out a low breath, another conversation, another meeting, a panic grew inside him...he silently died it down, looking back up at her. "I was just...doing nothing, actually." He said, trying to hide his lie. |

"Oh..." Arabella responded sweetly, approaching closer to this new man in her presence. "It seems that, that goes on around here quite often..." |

"Well, of course, we're all dead...what is there to do...?" He mumbled, looking away from her again, he crossed his arms over his chest, feeling resentment flow through him, he didn't show it on his face though...it stayed a closed book, he had to hide his emotions sometimes. "I guess we could mourn, or pretend that we actually could give a damn about having another chance at life..." His voice reveiled the bitterness that now was boiling inside him, he let out a sigh, his eyes glaring into a tree across from him. "Like it even matters...any of it..." He muttered on, almost forgetting the girl. |

Arabella approached slowly, now inches away from this man. She could feel his resent...a feeling she too had...though never in such a strong way as his own. She knew what it was like...to hate what they had become now, in Seda. Trying to kill her self off so she would not exist...though none of it worked. After being here for over 150 years, it took her 110 to finally let go a bit. Though a big aid to that was not being able to remember anything...about her arrival or before. She slowly sat beside him, not wishing to feel taller or greater than he, for she was not. "I know what you mean..." she said softly, her voice still like velvet. "Though...death will not come...after you are dead again...we are here to stay...nothing can change that...a irreversible contract..." |

"I know, I know," He said morosely, his eyes finally moving away from the tree to look over at the now sitting girl, his eyes narrowed slightly, but he didn't glare. Good Maxwell, don't want to scare the public, he thought, a smile twitching on his lips, he had to stop his random thoughts. He sighed, detatching his arms, he then put out one for her to shake. "Hello, I'm Maxwell," He said a little gruffly, the resentment still in him. |

Arabella's soft eyes gazed at him in curiousity. He seemed so tortured...a former soul of her self. Then Arabella's soft frail hand reached out to meet his. Though with a attempted firm grim, she took his in her own. "Is is a great pleasure, Maxwell. I am Arabella." |

"It's nice to meet you," He said with a stiff nod, letting go of her hand quickly, he looked down at his feet. "Arabella." He said, listening to the sound of her name, it was unusual, like most things around here. |

"Thank you." Arabella responded, keeping her eyes trained upon his, and her voice in a smooth dignified, velvety tone. Though she was very intrigued by this man. So rough around the edges, she wondered if he was like that on the inside also. |

Maxwell crossed his arms again, he let out a huff, then looked back at her. "So what are you here for?" He asked, his voice still as gruff as ever, at least his eyes were not narrowed anymore, they were opened, his soul shimmering in them. One thing he couldn't hide. Ever. |

Arabella, keeping her eyes trained upon him. Suddenly saw a new light within this creature...the reminiscence of a soul... She kept her outer appearance dignified, not wanting to let him know that she knew that there still was a kind man behind this hard shell exterior. "I..." she began softly. "This is going to sound...strange...but I do not remember..." |

"What do you have amneisia or something?" He asked, his face becoming confused, his eyebrows crinkled together, the soul that was showing in his eyes lost in it all. |

"No." Arabella said calmly, wishing to see his shining soul once more. "I don't think that alive human handicaps such as that, can pass onto this world. In my 150 years I have not seen one yet. Though...after time...either the brain just forgets, or some event so traumatic forces you to forget...I am not fully sure of the circumstances yet. Thus...I do not have a solid answer...not even for my self." |
