The archives are silent as you shuffle through them, searching the shelves for reading material. All of the sudden, you stop. Whether you are an old master, or a new acolyte, you realise you should refresh your memory of the Siths Beginning. You take an old, withered bantha-hide book. Sitting on a table, you open the book silently.

Page One - The Force Wars of Tython

The VERY beginning of the Sith began over 100,000 years ago. In the year 25,793 BBY the Force Wars began on the planet of Tython, the first ever clash between the two disctinct sides of the force - Ashla and Bogan. It began as a meeting, one for the philosophers and force-users of the galaxy. There was a disagreement of how the force should be used, and the practioners formed two distinct sides. The Ashla side thought the force was sacred, something that should be used to help those who call the galaxy their home. They saw it as a gift, something to use for the greater good. Those who followed Bogan, however, saw it as a tool to be used against ones opponents, to smite them down and gain power over others. Soon, the war began. Both sides used ancient swords, created and maintained with the force. The war lasted for ten years, until it ended in 25,783 BBY. The followers of Ashla had destroyed the Bogan, and claimed victory. This confrontation eventually led to the formation of the Jedi Order. This was the first major conflict based solely around the force.

Page Two - The First Great Schism

In the year 24,500 BBY, a group known as the Legions of Lettow took to arms against the Jedi. However, the seed of this conflict had grown for years beforehand. A group of Jedi Knight had become convinced that true power in the force was achieved through emotions, not through meditation. The legion was led by the rogue knight Xendor, and his lover Arden Lyn. Soon they called on other jedi who held their beliefs, forming the Legions of Lettow. They began a war against the Republic, one that would last an entire year. Battles included planets such as Ossus and Coruscant, both of which were attacked by Xendor and his Legions. The Dark Jedi, however, were soon drove back from the core. A long string of battles along the Perlemian Trade Route, including locations such as Brentaal IV and Metellos. The war ended with the Battle of Colomnus, during which Xendor was slain and Arden Lyn had her heart stopped by Jedi Master Ardwyn Pina.

Notes:

- This is the first sign of 'Dark Jedi.'
- The protosaber is still in use.
- The Sith have not yet been discovered

Page Three - The Second Great Schism / Hundred Year Darkness

The Hundred Year Darkness officially began in 7,003 BBY, however its origins are from years before that. A group of Jedi Knights had expanded their learning, and discovered that by relying more on the force they could bend life itself. These rebels, led by Jedi such as Ajunta Pall, Karness Muur and XoXaan became defensive of their new powers. The 'pure' Jedi Knights, however, were not so happy. They exiled the Jedi, and began the war that would last one hundred years. The exiles fled from Jedi worlds such as Tython and Ossus, and began to create horrible dark-sided abominations. They began the creation of the earliest form of Korriban Zombies, animated corpses that were forced to serve their Dark Jedi masters. They set to war on multiple fronts against the Jedi, slaying all they met. However, about halfway through the war, the Dark Jedi found themselves outnumbered by the Jedi. To attempt to gain an upper hand in the battle, the Dark Jedi began to create even more perverted Darksided creatures, such as the Leviathon, which could suck ones lifeforce and siphon it into itself. The Dark Jedi were eventually defeated in the Battle of Corbos. The last Legacy of the Legions of Lettow seemed to be gone, however, this was not so. The Jedi Order exiled them to the outer rim, where they landed on the planet of Korriban. Here, they found the primitive Sith, and the foundations of the Sith Empire of today began.

Page Four - The Sith Species

After their exile, the Dark Jedi found themselves upon the planet Korriban. Inhabiting this planet was a species of red-tentacled sentients, known as the Sith. These Sith utilised the Dark Side in their every day life, and at first rejected the fallen Jedi. However, soon, the Jedi proved themselves to the Sith, and took control of them. They made themselves out to be gods, and became the first Sith Lords. They dominated the Sith Species, slaying their self-proclaimed leader and taking complete control. In the ancient language Sith'ese, they were called Jen'Jedai. Soon enough, the first Dark Lord of the Sith arose, Ajunta Pall. At first, the Sith Lords were unamuesd at their primitive uses of Sith Swords, however very fascinated by their Sith Magic, and the use of powerful illusions. After defeating some of the strongest Sith Sorcerers, they learned of this knowledge.

By using the ship the exiled Jedi had arrived on, the Sith and Sith Lords began to conquer other words, the first of which being Ziost.

"...Our Sith Empire is great, rich and powerful. This is our golden age."
- Marka Ragnos

The Golden Age of the Sith was a time when the Sith were within their 'greatest hour.' The Sith were high in numbers, and war had not plagued them for thousands of years. The Dark Lord of the Sith, Marka Ragnos, ruled with an Iron Fist, keeping the systems in line. The Sith Empire was stable economically and militarily, with a steady increase of both Masassi and normal soldiers. They had not made any contact with the Republic since the original Dark Jedi arrived on Korriban.

Page Six - The Great Hyperspace War

Thousands of years after the Hundred-Year Darkness, the Sith were a dominant force, and not only that, but one ready for battle. It all started when Gav and Jori Daragon landed on the planet Korriban, during the funeral of Marka Ragnos. It had been entirely by chance, for the two had simply been searching for new Hyperspace routes. As they landed, they were honoured with the chance to watch the elegance of a duel, a duel between Sith Lords. Ludo Kressh and Naga Sadow were in the midst of a duel, in the middle of the funeral! Soon enough the spirit of Ragnos rose, ordering the two to stop. Gav and Jori were captured, and sent to the planet of Ziost, the capital of the Sith Empire. There were, however, not captured for long. A group of Massassi warriors, sent by Naga Sadow, arrived to free the Daragons. They were transported off-world, to Nagas secret fortress on Kar Shian. However, soon after this Ludo Kressh became aware of the trickery. He launched an assault on the fortress, in order to retake the two. Sadow proceeded to sent Jori back to the republic, whilst he forced Gav to stay. By this time he had been teaching Gav Sith Sorcery, and had made him his apprentice. After Jori exited into lightspeed, Sadow released the massive amount of force he had been saving. He deastroyed the entirety of the Fleet, leaving Kressh presumed dead. With his opposition out of the way, he made his way towards the Republic.

It was 5,000 BBY, and the Sith had began to wreak havoc on the Galaxy. They brutally assaulted the Republic, using Naga Sadows Meditation to duel their power. With battles at locations such as Coruscant and Kirrek, the initial invasion was very sucessful. However, while commanding an assault on the planet Koros Major, Gav panicked, after finding many of his old friends dead. His sister, blaming him for everything, brutally killed one of his Massassi soldiers. He fled from the battle, and without a commander, the Sith fleet he had controlled was doomed to failure. He soon arrived at Naga Sadows Meditation Sphere, orbiting the star Primus Goluud. He soon ordered the remnants of his fleet to open fire, causing Sadow to lose concentration on his illusions, and the Battle of Coruscant to be lost. Soon a massive fleet from the Empress Teta system arrived at Primus Goluud, and a battle began. Sadow used a massive superweapon to implode the core of a nearby star, then fled the battle. Within his last hour, Gav transmitted the coordinantes for Sith Space to the Republic. He was killed aboard his flagship, the imploded sun burning him to a crisp.

Upon returning to Sith Space, Sadow found Ludo Kressh waiting. Kressh had lived through the assassination attempt, and engaged him over Korriban. The battle signified the Sith Empires rock-bottom, and ended in the death of Ludo Kressh, as one of Sadows cruisers crashed into his flagship. Sadow fled from Sith Space with the remainder of his fleet, arriving in the Yavin system, and settling his soldiers upon Yavin IV. Meanwhile, the Republic launched a crusade through Sith Space, systematically destroying the remaining Sith Strongholds.
