Hmmm.

Maybe we'll see a PS3 version that loses the XBLA games and adds a few other arcade games that didn't make it on this disc, like Rolling Thunder 2, or maybe Phelios and Burning Force... a man can dream.

Once again missing all of the classics that are not so well known in the west. At least they got Baraduke.

30 bucks is kinda pushing it considering they've already released most of these games about 40,000 times and you can get them free in a flash player with a quick google search.

The XBLA games it comes with, all put together, do add up to 30 bucks, but Mr. Driller got intensely negative reviews, Pacman C.E. has been out long enough that it hardly gets any more purchases, and Galaga Legions is just one game. Almost everything in the comp is found free (and I'm pretty sure legal) online. For 20 bucks, I'd consider giving it a shot, but 30 dollars, like I said, is pushing it. Just because those games individually add up to 30 dollars does absolutely not mean they are worth 30 dollars.

Really, Namco has so many other games to stick in a compilation that this selection of regurgitated titles is pretty embarrassing. I can only play Dig Dug, Xevious, and Pac-Man so many fucking times.

Namco is so stuck in a rut these days when it comes to variety on comps that it's just plain embarrassing. Seriously.

I take it Namco doesn't want arcade Splatterhouse included to please the rating bullshit.

When they released Splatterhouse's TG16 version on the Virtual Console, it only got a T rating (I believe SH2 got an M, however). Still, though, you're probably right, the comp is aiming for an E, I'm sure.
