So I've been playing around with PsxMC again, and I've decided to take all of the video files from the PS1 games I have access to and compile them into one big DVD. Currently, this includes the following:

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Castlevania Chronicles
Gradius Deluxe Pack
Salamander Deluxe Pack Plus
Gradius Gaiden
Thunderforce V Perfect System
Tenchu: Stealth Assassins
Tenchu 2: Birth of the Stealth Assassins
Nightmare Creatures
Resident Evil
Namco Museums 1 through Encore
(including the hidden Genpei Toumaden video from Vol. 4)
wipEout
Tomb Raider II
Street Fighter EX + Alpha
Star Wars: Dark Forces

and whatever else I can find that's good. Who knows, I might even find some hidden video on some of these discs.

1:52:09.

120 video files.

No hidden video to speak of, other than the original Japanese Acquire logo in Tenchu and Tenchu 2. But that's cool. This DVD will now represent an interesting cross-section of PS1 videos, from launch almost to the end.

I tell you, though... I can't help but wish I had access to a program (and PC) like this when I still had my original PS1 collection. This could have had videos from Einhander, R-Types, R-Type Delta, Silent Hill, Metal Gear Solid and lots more.

Thems is a lot of good games on there... and you remind me I should pick up Tenchu 2, Nightmare Creatures, and Star Wars: Dark Forces at some point. I actually rented that last one and found it a good FPS and a fine use of the SW license.

Nightmare Creatures I got used a couple years back for $1. Good deal for me, as it was complete and in great shape. That was right around the same time I snagged a sealed copy of Ridge Racer for $2. Tenchu 2 I actually had to eBay. Cost me $10 sealed.
